At this age your child will have an inquisitive mind and a thirst for knowledge. Our aim is to help our little people explore the world around them and gain independence. Friendships are built by providing time for child led activities which involve sharing, turn taking and thinking about others. Building language skills is vitally important and story telling and talking about events are encouraged at every opportunity. Numeracy too is developed through everyday activities, counting out knives and forks when laying a table or weighing ingredients when baking a cake. TLC takes the children through the "Stepping Stones" enabling them to attain the six "Early Learning Goals" at the end of the foundation stage.
